Barbara lit up our lives. While she lived her life her way, she inspired us. Her diagnosis was shocking, her remaining time here very sweet, but the last stage was again shockingly fast, too fast to make sense of from the outside. Perhaps it was a blessing, minimizing the suffering... My heart goes out to all who had the opportunity to know and love Barbara. May her memory be a blessing.
